The Dates!

I thought it would be helpful to actually put the dates (duh).  Anything that doesn't have a name after it is OPEN.

Our slams have an amazing draw & we love to buy merch.  We pay $50 & don't take any cut of the poet's sales.  I got a place for you to stay & I can cook - just ask Morris...

The showcases are kinda experimental.  A local champ, a travelling feature & an open-mic.  We split the door with the travelling feature & the rest of the cash goes to funding the 2005 slam team.  We had one & it was cool - I think it's really going to catch on as we proceed.  Plus the bar's adding a cheap drink special next time!

There are two travlling poets,
who will be in NoCal,OR, WA, & BC between Dec. and January
and I'm trying to help them hook up with venues/events.
They're political, funny, cute, full of southern charm and they've got a cd out on Daemon records they're trying to get out there.
Do you mind if I give them your contact info??
I think if they have at least some venue contacts, they'll be able to pick it up from there. Or if you're still looking for out of towners, which it doesn't look like you are anymore, but it seemed worth a shot....
